Yarn dyed stripe patterns designed by KARDO, handwoven on hand spun raw silk
by weavers in Bengal. Matka silk is made from the waste of mulberry silk and the spun nature
of the threads means that they are slightly thicker than conventional silk, but still very soft, giving it a feel that is somewhere between cotton and cashmere. The panels are stitched together to create these beautiful stripe patch work.
