The Rabari community, originally nomadic travelers with many settling in Kutch, Gujarat, are known for their rich textile traditions. The women of the community, now collaborating with Kala Raksha-a grassroots social enterprise dedicated to preserving traditional arts-bring creative flair to traditional embroidered applique work.This intricate applique combines running and satin stitches on naturally dyed, hand-spun, and handwoven khadi denim fabric crafted by artisans from Udyog Bharti.
