This season, we return to the courtyard — a square of 
earth and stone, open to the sky, framed by walls that has long been the heart of the home. In the small
villages of Punjab, the layered homes of Lucknow, and the havelis in Ahmedabad, the aangan or saanjh 
da vedha the courtyard at dusk  becomes a sanctuary where generations sit without ceremony, sharing stories
that pass through words, movement, and the silences that bind them.
