Bandhani, derived from the Sanskrit word ‘Banda’ meaning ‘to tie,’ is a skilled dyeing technique where fabric is tightly hand-tied at multiple points to create intricate patterns. This slow process uses only natural dyes. These patchwork pieces are crafted by fabric created by Suraj Narayan Titanwala and his family in Bagru, Rajasthan, renowned natural dye artisans who can trace their artistic lineage over 500 years. In addition, these pieces feature hand-embroidered kantha stitch detailing.
  • 100% COTTONDRY CLEAN ONLY WITH A GOOD AND CAREFUL DRY CLEANERNote: Dyed with natural indigo, this piece may show slight patchiness or fade over time. These are signs of slow, mindful craftsmanship, not imperfections.
