Every panel in this fabric represents a traditional Indian textile craft, then slowly overdyed to deepen it into a spectrum of black, for depth and variation. We cut these pieces with intention—each selected for its shade, grain, and bearing—and join them in patchwork. As the seams come together, the different textiles form a landscape of blacks, carrying the quiet richness of each craft across the surface.
