We blend eri silk from Assam with wool yarns from Bihar, handwoven together in Bhagalpur. The finished cloth is then tied by hand in the bandhani tradition, each knot pulled tight with thread to hold the dye and release a pattern once opened. The work moves slowly, but with it the fabric gathers depth — silk and wool meeting the intricacy of resist. All of our bandhani is dyed with natural colour, drawn from plants.

Refrain from pairing this clothing item with light colors until any remaining color has been eliminated, as there might be some color transfer.
