The Gond tradition carries a visual language of lines, dots, and stories—once painted on paper and walls, and now held in the imagination of artists across central India. We draw from this lineage not in pigment but in thread, translating its forms into embroidery guided by artisans working near our workshop. Each motif grows stitch by stitch, its rhythm shaped by the steady movement of the hand and needle rather than the brush. On the fabric, the designs form a raised surface that recalls Gond imagery while becoming something of its own—a meeting of inherited pattern and contemporary handwork.
