We blend eri silk from Assam with wool yarns from Bihar, handwoven together in Bhagalpur. Once woven, artisan Sufiyan Khatri and his team in Ajrakhpur, Gujarat guide the fabric through the traditional Ajrakh process — a slow sequence of printing and dyeing using natural, plant-derived colour. Layer by layer, the resist and dye build geometric patterns that settle gently into the fibre, connecting different regions of Indian textile craft into one cloth.
