MARTIN recalls the utility of vintage military shirts, offering structure without formality. Cut with a convertible collar, it can be pressed flat for a sharper edge, or folded open to echo a camp shape. A detail that invites choice—lending two expressions to the same form.

We begin with khadi woven by hand, where the irregularities of spin and tension give the cloth its familiar honesty. Onto this surface, our in-house artisans work with machine embroidery inspired by the neat, linear markings of the bahi-khata ledger. The stitches move in measured lines across the fabric, creating a quiet geometry that echoes the balance and repetition of handwritten accounts. Held together, the khadi and embroidery form a cloth that is simple in appearance yet rich in the rhythm of both tradition and daily work.
