We work with artisans from the Rabari community of Gujarat – with the help of Kala Raksha Trust – where embroidery has long been part of everyday life and dress. Using running, satin, and chain stitches, they build bold motifs in vivid colours, often setting mirrors or shells into the cloth. Each piece is intricate in detail yet confident in character, carrying forward the identity of a tradition that has lived through generations. For us, it is both embellishment and narrative — a surface alive with the history and imagination of the Rabari people.

DRY CLEAN ONLY WITH A GOOD AND CAREFUL DRY CLEANER Note: Indigo dyeing may leave soft irregularities and a hue that fades gently over time. These reflect slow, mindful craftsmanship, not flaws. Dry crocking — the transfer of colour onto other surfaces when the fabric is dry — may also occur. Please avoid light-coloured clothing until the excess colour has released.
