We begin with khadi woven by hand, where the irregularities of spin and tension give the cloth its familiar honesty. Onto this surface, our in-house artisans work with machine embroidery inspired by the neat, linear markings of the bahi-khata ledger. The stitches move in measured lines across the fabric, creating a quiet geometry that echoes the balance and repetition of handwritten accounts. Held together, the khadi and embroidery form a cloth that is simple in appearance yet rich in the rhythm of both tradition and daily work.

DRY CLEAN ONLY WITH A GOOD AND CAREFUL DRY CLEANER Note: Indigo dyeing may leave soft irregularities and a hue that fades gently over time. These reflect slow, mindful craftsmanship, not flaws. Dry crocking — the transfer of colour onto other surfaces when the fabric is dry — may also occur. Please avoid light-coloured clothing until the excess colour has released.
