We begin with khadi woven by hand, where the irregularities of spin and tension give the cloth its familiar honesty. Onto this surface, our in-house artisans work with machine embroidery inspired by the neat, linear markings of the bahi-khata ledger. The stitches move in measured lines across the fabric, creating a quiet geometry that echoes the balance and repetition of handwritten accounts.
