We work with khadi woven in checks and stripes, each panel carrying slight variations in shade that come from hand-spun yarns. These pieces are stitched together so the grids meet in quiet contrast, forming a surface marked by lines and intersections. Over this, we bring machi tanka embroidery—a joining stitch interpreted by our artisans to trace steady pathways across the cloth. The fabric holds the honesty of khadi alongside the raised rhythm of the stitch, giving it a balance of structure and hand-led character.
