COTTON SILK combines the softness and breathability of cotton with the subtle lustre and fluidity of silk, creating a light fabric with a refined surface. Machi tanka embroidery follows the cloth in visible lines, bringing stitched definition to the grain. Traditionally used to join panels, the technique creates a marked, linear quality while remaining close to the character of the weave.
