We understand that considered purchases often come with thoughtful questions. Here are a few things you might wish to know before placing your order with us.

What are the available methods of payment?

We offer several ways to make your purchase with ease. All major debit and credit cards are accepted, including VISA, Mastercard, and American Express. Payments within India are processed securely through RazorPay. For orders placed internationally, you may choose from PayPal or Stripe—whichever feels most familiar to you.

Which currencies do you transact in?

To make your shopping experience more seamless, we accept payments as follows:

Is the pricing inclusive of taxes and duties?

Yes, all prices listed on our website include taxes. For our international orders, we also cover the cost of import duties. While we do our best to make the delivery process as effortless as possible, there may be rare instances where local customs authorities apply additional handling or clearance fees. Should that occur, these charges would need to be settled by the customer at the time of delivery.

What are your shipping charges and thresholds?

Shipping within India is offered at no additional cost. 

For international orders, we provide complimentary shipping on purchases above $1000(U.S. Only), $160, €160, or £150. 

For smaller orders, a shipping fee of $25, €24, or £23 is applied.

How do you approach returns and exchanges?

Our garments are crafted with care, in limited numbers, and with great attention to detail. We encourage thoughtful purchases, and as a policy, we do not accept returns or exchanges unless a garment is defective, damaged in transit, or if the item received is not what was originally ordered.

Should any of these occur, please write to us at info@kardo.co within 7 days of receiving your order. Requests received after this period may not be eligible for review.

Returned pieces must be unworn, with tags intact and in their original condition. Once the garment reaches our workshop, it will be carefully reviewed by our production team. If the issue is substantiated through our internal quality checks, we will initiate the return or exchange process.

Please note, as many of our textiles are handwoven and naturally dyed, gentle variations in tone, texture, or weave are a part of their making—and are not considered faults.

Is it possible to modify or cancel an order once placed?

If you’ve placed an order and would like to make a change, we ask that you write to us within 24 hours at info@kardo.co, quoting your order number in the subject line. We will do our best to accommodate your request, though changes may not be possible once your order has moved into production.

How can I find the right fit?

We offer a size chart to help guide your selection—[you can view it here]. If you’re uncertain about which size or silhouette to choose, we’re always happy to help. Please write to us, and we’ll walk you through the fit, the fabric, and the fall, so the piece you purchase feels right.

Do you ship beyond India?

Yes. We ship to most regions across the world—excluding PO Boxes—directly from our studio in New Delhi. Within India, we work with trusted courier partners like Blue Dart and Delhivery. For international orders, we ship via DHL Express.

What is the timeline for dispatch and delivery?

Each of our garments is made to order, allowing us to prevent excess and minimise waste. The production timeline for every piece is shared on its individual listing, so you’ll know just how long it will take to craft.

Once ready, your order will leave our workshop in New Delhi. Deliveries within India typically take 2 – 5 working days, while international shipments may take 5 – 7 business days from dispatch, excluding any time in customs. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your order is received, followed by tracking details when it is on its way.
