ALFRED distills the hunting jacket to its essentials, paring back bulk in favour of shape. Boxy through the body with a measured fit, it sits easily without feeling overbuilt. Designed with restraint, its form is guided by function—unburdened by the superfluous.

We bring together panels of handwoven khadi twill from Purulia, West Bengal, each in a different colour and carrying its own rhythm in tone and weave. The differences are small — shifts in shade, the quiet irregularities of the hand — yet for us they hold the memory of where and by whom they were made. Pieced into patchwork, the seams form a map of these parts meeting, their edges settling into one another. The fabric holds the grounded strength of twill, layered with the life of many origins joined as one in our work.
